Core Connections Thurs. 9/10

After looking through your check-ins for the Periodic Table Projects, it is time to do a peer share/help session.  We'll go into breakout groups to work on this. The form to guide your peer share process and feedback will be in Google Classroom under Project Support.  

This Peer Share Assignment is not on our weekly outline.  It is a new assignment.  We will do this during class today, Thursday, 9/10.    

Please remember that I am available today (Thursday 9/10) after school until 4:30, but you'll need to email me if you want to Zoom-tutor.  

Remember to check your email for today's Classroom Meeting.

Science:

- Finish the LearnEd notebook pages 14 and 16.  The link to the slideshow is with the assignment in GC. Remember to submit pictures of BOTH PAGES once you have completed them. Submit pictures of your completed work in GC>
- Bring a snack tomorrow to class.  Anything works - an apple, crackers, string cheese, pretzels. We'll use it for one of our activities.  

Social Studies:

After reading America Ch. 5 Section 2 "The Colonists Resist Tighter Control" in class today you should be finishing your note-taking art activity:  (PICK #1 or #2)

1.  Create a 3-5 slide comic strip which reveals (through illustrations) the main and supporting ideas expressed in the reading.

2.  Create an original political cartoon that expresses a point of view (perspective) about a person or event from the reading.  

*You will share your comic or political cartoon with your peers tomorrow in class.  There is nothing to submit tonight!
