2 - Finish the Flocabulary: Natural Resources assignments if you did not finish in class today. You need to complete all assigned portions (Video, Vocab Cards, Vocab Game, Read & Respond, and Quiz). The Quiz will be recorded as a grade (as long as the other sections are also completed).  The Quiz is open-resource, so use your Flocabulary resources and do your best!

 Math 8 Students will complete Delta Math In-Class Assignment on IXL called Exponents Sections 1-5. For homework students will complete Exponents Sections 6-10. These assignments involve the Rules For Exponents. See the attachment below.

1.  Read in the America text Ch.6 Section 4 "Winning Independence" and review the notes in GC. (classwork)

3.  Begin the Revolutionary War People Mini project (classwork).  

*Begin with Activity 1 which includes the name, picture and brief biography of the person studied.  The bio should be presented in bullet points.  Please go to the digital copy of the project outline in GC to see the example provided.

PLEASE READ REGARDING YOUR MINI PROJECT:

It is ok to use Wikipedia for the bio section in Activity 1  

It is not ok to use Wikipedia for Activity 2.

You must use at least 3 sources for Activity 2

1 - Finish balancing the equations on p.20 of your LearnEd notebook if you did not finish in class.  The equations are in today's slideshow in GC if you didn't copy all of them  (or missed class).

2 - Please finish the Chemistry Review from MTSS today if you did not finish during MTSS. You may use your notes and a periodic table for this assignment.

3 - The Balancing Act Practice page from class today is for practice.  This will not be collected for a grade, but will help you practice balancing equations.

Tuesday Math I Students

 Math I students finished Solving Linear Equations and Inequalities and begin Functions today. 

Math 8 Students

Math 8 Monday through Thursday Content and Activities. 

We began a new topic of study in Number Systems. Specifically, students are learning about the similarities and differences between rational and irrational numbers. Simply, rational numbers are any numbers capable of being converted into a fraction. Irrational numbers include pi and square root of 2, nonterminating (endless) and nonrepeating numbers. Students will be reviewing the distributed notes.

4. Delta Math practice. 

5. Homework: Study notes concerning the number system, real and imaginary numbers, rational vs irrational numbers terminating and non terminating. numbers.

For the Vocab Cards, you need to write an original sentence with each word or draw a digital picture of the word.  Your sentence or picture should show that you understand the meaning of the term. These assignments are due by 11:59 tonight. Finish today and then enjoy your 3-day weekend
