ELA:

-All classes have a short graded classwork assignment tomorrow about theme and evaluating strong evidence.

Period 1: Do the "Exit" section of your Lesson 4 handout.

Period 2: Make sure these sections of your Lesson 4 handout are FULLY completed: "My Claim," "Exhibit A," "Exhibit B," and "The argument against me"

Period 3: Finish the card sort chart on your Lesson 3 handout, if not finished in class. (The card sort materials are posted in Google Classroom).

Period 4: Review your "My Claim," "Exhibit A," "Exhibit B," and "The hardest box" sections:

  • If you were moved to a corner you did NOT prepare for originally: Make sure that your evidence and explanations fit your NEW corner.
  • If you ARE in your original corner: make sure your evidence fits the claim about the FINAL result of the story. "She is/is not greedy" is not sufficient to prove the END result is any single character's fault.
Period 5:
If you changed corners, make sure you have at least ONE piece of evidence to support your new corner.

Science

Continue to brainstorm and think about ideas for your periodic table project.  I've seen many great ideas so far!
