Please check School Status Connect or Google Classroom to view the High School Electives Course Catalog for Freshmen.  Students will meet with High School Guidance and Administration on Monday, March 9th to begin the process.  

Wednesday, March 4

 Social Studies

1.  Submit Q3 Warm up doc in GC for on-time grading.

2.  Enrichment Cluster Workday (classwork), Enrichment Cluster notetaking (homework)

3.  Study for your Civil War unit test (homework)

ELA:

Periods 1, 4, 5:

Your vocabulary assignment (in "Vocab Sheets" in Google Classroom) is due tomorrow at the beginning of class. Make sure that you have done all of the steps described in the Google Doc. 

To submit:

• Step 1: You do not need to attach the spreadsheet to the assignment. I own them all and have the links -- I will check them when it is time.
• Steps 2, 3: ONE group member should attach the categorization slide (step 2) and graphic organizer (step 3).
• Step 4: If you wrote a group paragraph, only ONE group member needs to attach it to the assignment. If you wrote individual paragraphs, each person should attach their own.

Turn it in once you have followed all directions above.

-Vocab assignment (BR1) due at the beginning of class on Thursday. You must have ALL deliverables for the assignment done by then. 

Step 1 should include all words from the word list. For Steps 2 and on, you can choose 10-15 of the words.

The rubric can be located in any of these places:

• Your project folder
• Infinite Campus
• Google Classroom

Math

Math 8: Quiz tomorrow on volume. I will not be giving you the formulas for the quiz. You need to know them for the quiz!

Math 1: Quiz tomorrow on systems of equations (graphing, substitution, elimination)

Science:

Finish the Microorganisms Comparison assignment if you did not finish during class today. Use your notes, slideshows in GC, and the resources posted today to help. 

Study / review your notes on bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

Monday March 2

 Math

Math 8: Finish classwork from today. (volume practice sheet and quizizz linked in google classroom). Volume Quiz on Wednesday.

Math 1: Quiz on Systems of Equations Wednesday.

ELA:

Periods 2, 3: "Vocab Sheets" full assignment (described in the "BR 1" document) is due by beginning of class THURSDAY. Recommended breakdown:

• Today for homework: have all words assigned to a person in your group (if not done in class)
• Tomorrow in class, finish for homework: Vocab Spreadsheet (step 1 in your directions)

Finish the group BR Literature Search. You should have a minimum of two articles per group member.  Make sure the shared document includes color coding for each group member. Also, the citations should be in MLA format.
