1 - Complete pages 6-7 (!!) in your Earth History LearnEd booklet (the new one you got today).  Follow directions given in class; see directions in Google Classroom if you didn't record the fossil types on p.7 during class today.

2- Finish the Layers of Time digital activity if you did not finish in class today. 

3 - Finish the Index Fossils Review if you did not finish this assignment last week.  Remember to email me upon completion of late work! If you have a 0 in Infinite Campus, you need to finish this assignment.

ELA:

-Stage 2 is due Thursday.

-Recommended homework for tonight:

    1) Finish putting your scientific study into the Research Notes app

    2) Put the first HALF of a second source in (up to the essential questions)

Science:

1 - Finish reading and annotating the Fossils review passage if you did not finish in class. 

2 - Answer the questions based on the reading (yes, the front and back sides of this). 

3 - Finish the Geologic Time Organizer, if this applies to you.  This was due today. 

ELA:

Period 1: Finish reading and annotating your group's section in the Literature Review of the article.

Period 2: Finish reading the Introduction section of the article. As you read:

• Circle unknown words
• Make 2 annotations for meaning (putting a sentence or phrase into your own words)

Period 3: Read the last sentence in "1. Transformation of Digital Media Consumption Patterns" and write down the meaning in your own words.

Period 4: Read the section of Literature Review that is for your group's focus area. Circle any unknown words.

Core Connections:

Make sure that you have completed and turned in the following:

1.  3rd QuarterGrades/GPA Graph of your 1, 2, and 3rd quarter grades.

2.  BR:  Intro to Public Health. Specifically, I am checking for revised, updated, correct information on slides 3, 4, and 6.

Math 8: Finish Scientific Notation Delta Math. Review #4 in delta math due Friday

Math 1: Review #4 in delta math due Friday. Systems test Friday.

Social Studies:

1.  Create a new warm up doc for Q4/complete warm up #1 and #2

2.  Read in the America Text 16.2 pp. 552-557/review the notes provided in GC

3.  Review the slideshow notes on "Reconstruction in the State" located in GC

4.  Watch the first 20 minutes of ATSOU #6-Heartland and take Graffiti notes!

5.  Study your new vocab: Reconstruction.  We will play Gimkit later this week!

Science:

1 - Complete labeling the "Major Events in Earth's History" if you did not finish in class.

2 - Complete the Geologic Time Organizer. Follow directions. 

3 - Complete the Picture It assignment to sketch a picture of Earth during each of the 4 major time periods.  Pictures should include biological and geological events.

Core Connections

1. Make sure you've completed the graphing activity of your grades and posted it in GC.

ELA:

I recommend that you get your research notes in for Stage 1 before next week. We will begin Stage 2 then, and all research notes will be checked at the end of Stage 2.

If you're worried about losing your work, use the "export notes" button at the top to save an offline copy of your notes to your computer before you log out or close the tab.

-Your research notes are due next week (Monday). You will have time in Core Connections tomorrow, and you MAY have some ELA time (depending on how long your group needs to investigate and choose a focus area for Step 2 of the project).
