 Math I: Good work on today's quiz! No HW.

Math 8: Finish Inequality Word Problems practice (check Google Classroom).

Unit Test study guide goes out on Friday, Unit Test on Monday (9/21)!

Social Studies

1.  Study your notes on the graphic organizer that you have been working on this week (A.G.R.S.).  You should also study the notes from the NC text from this week and Colonization vocab!

ELA:

Period 3: Finish annotating the poem if not done in class (Lesson 11 handout). Then, answer questions 1 and 2 on the back of the Lesson 11 handout.

Period 4: Do the explanations in section "Theme lines vs pretty lines" on your Lesson 11 handout (in Unit 1 Packet #2)

All classes:

You will not be able to answer these questions on the study guide until Friday in class. Leaving these blank will not affect your ability to retake: 

  • Section 1 questions 2 and 3
  • Section 3, Passage A, Question 4
  • Section 3, Passage B, Question 4
Study guides are due Friday, and the start of class. If they are not here, to be checked, on time, you will not be able to retake the unit test if you want to.

Unit test on Wednesday next week.

Science

1 - Finish the Sunset in a Bag lab if you did not finish during class.

2 - Finish the Chemical & Physical changes review handout from Viking Time if you did not finish at school. 

3 - Bring a penny (if you have one) for tomorrow's lab. Bring a hair tie to class on Thursday & Friday if you have longer hair.

Finish reading & annotating the text from today, "When Chemistry Changes Temperature." Complete the questions if you did not finish in class today. 

Bring a hair tie tomorrow and each day this week. Long hair will need to be tied back all week. 

Continue working on your periodic table. Bring your posterboard to school if you have not already done this. 

Math I: Finish Average Rate of Change practice (check Google Classroom). Quiz on Features of Functions and Average Rate of Change on Wednesday!
