Welcome Back!  We hope you had a wonderful break.  

Core Connections for Monday:

1. Work on your Social Studies Amendment Project.

2. Short Journal to turn in.

This week, we will be wrapping up your Social Studies Amendment/Case work and begin the Superfund projects.  


Social Studies:
1.  Syllabus Revision/Review in GC (classwork)
2.  Project workdays in CC Monday and Tuesday this week.  Use the "tools" found in GC which we went over before break!
3.  Define your new unit vocabulary:  Slavery.  Use flash cards or create a Quizlet game. (classwork)
4.  Read in your America Book Ch. 4 Section 3.  Answer the 10 questions in GC. (homework) 
*Please answer the questions on a piece of notebook paper.  I will provide you will a digital copy of the answer key tomorrow as we discuss the reading in class.

Math:

**Warm up responses 1-20 will be turned in for a project grade during the second week of December.  This means that you have more than 3 weeks to make sure that your document is complete.  Make sure that you have written a minimum of 3 complete sentence per entry for full credit.

2.  Continue to work on Part 2 of your Legacy Project.  Make sure that you are working on a doc tited "Legacy of Our Constitution Part 2".  You should have 4 headings on your doc:  Name of court case, Background, Findings, and Impact.

Progress Check Today:  Everyone has a court case which involves the Amendment that they studied from Part 1 of the project  Students should study the background of the case and the ruling from a trusted resource.  (classwork and homework)
*Tell your parents about the court case you are studying!
