1 - (Classwork) - Complete the Chemical Properties of Metals using today's slideshow.  
2 - (Classwork) - Complete the Metals section of the Metals/Metalloids/Nonmetals notes. 
3 - Complete the Metals Review (in GC) using Chapter 15, Section 3 of your textbook.  A copy of the pages from the textbook are posted in GC with the assignment if you do not have your textbook with you. 

Math: Diagnostic should be complete by now; if not, get er done!

1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th: Make sure warmup form Transformations #1 is complete
In class, we worked on the project. Should have pre-image with labeled points (done Friday) and rotation with labeled points (done today).

1 - Finish color-coding the periodic tables (parts A and B) if you did not finish in class.
2 - Take the 2 Quizizz practice quizzes in GC.  Yes, these count for a grade.  You may retake each quiz as many times as possible to improve your score. Use your notes if needed!
3 - Quiz next week - probably Wednesday.  Study your notes in your binder and the slideshows on GC.

Math:
If you have not already done so, complete the IXL math diagnostic

Social Studies:

1.  Make sure that you have completed warm-up #10 on your Google Doc labeled "Social Studies Quarter 1 Warm-Ups"
2.  Create a KWL chart using a piece of notebook paper.  
Write the letters K, W and L across the top of your paper and then draw lines in between each letter to make columns.  

The K stands for what you know.  Write down 3 things that you know about Native American culture in the K column.  

The W stands for what you want to  know.  This is the column for your curiosity.  Write down 3 things in this column that you would like to know about Native Americans.  

The L stands for learn. Watch the first 18 minutes of the documentary film "First Language-the fight to save Cherokee".  Then write down 3 things that you learned in the L column.

1. Today, our goal was Paper & People.  Students used a graphic organizer to learn a bit more about each other.  We're working on procedures, interpersonal skills, and transitions needed for 8th grade.

- Work on your "Introduce Yourself" assignment.  This is due Friday by 11:59 pm.
