Monday, May 23, 2022

Please bring back your textbooks (science & SS) if you have not already done this!  THANKS!

Core Connections

1. Refer back to your Two Truths and a Lie assignment on 3/31 in GC.  Reread your slides and the three cites you chose.  Do you remember which one was the fallacy/lie?

2.  Think-Pair-Share:  Share your old Two Truths and a Lie examples with a friend and with another classmate.

3. Read TODAY's discussion article from the LA Times about NC politics.  NC Politics are notorious for smear and mudslinging campaigns.

4.  Read WRAL's useful information about their coverage of local politics.

5.  Use the Fallacy Review to find examples of fallacies in last week's election campaign advertisements.   The ones I notice most often are bandwagon and slippery slope.
