Dear 8th Grade Parents,

Monday, February 27th we will launch our next Core Connections project related to the nutrition standards in science.  The ‘Nutritionist for Hire’ project will require students to procure a real client, create a health questionnaire, and design a personalized health and exercise plan for that client.

The project launch will be an ‘in house’ field trip.  We are excited to have Zacki Murphy of Zacki’s Culinary Creations visiting each Core Connections class.  She will be preparing both food and an instructional presentation for your students to demonstrate that healthy food can be tasty!  The cost for the presentation and food will be $7 per student.

Please visit OrgsOnline to pay for this event by Monday, February 20th. Thank you so much for supporting your student’s learning!

Enjoy your weekend!
