 Social Studies:

1.  Create a 3 column graphic organizer and title it :  U.S. Government Vocabulary (classwork)

2.  Label each column:  Vocab Word/"Headline"/Non-linguistic Representation (classwork)

3.  List all 20 vocab words down the left side of your paper under the column labled "vocab word".  Make sure you leave space in between each word.  (classwork)

4.  Find at least 10 headlines which use one of your vocabulary words.  Write down the headline in quotation marks in column 2 and cite the source. (classwork)

5.  Create 20 non-linguistic representations of meaning (classwork and homework)
