Period 1: Do the "Exit" section of your Lesson 4 handout.

Period 2: Make sure these sections of your Lesson 4 handout are FULLY completed: "My Claim," "Exhibit A," "Exhibit B," and "The argument against me"

Period 3: Finish the card sort chart on your Lesson 3 handout, if not finished in class. (The card sort materials are posted in Google Classroom).

Period 4: Review your "My Claim," "Exhibit A," "Exhibit B," and "The hardest box" sections:

  • If you were moved to a corner you did NOT prepare for originally: Make sure that your evidence and explanations fit your NEW corner.
  • If you ARE in your original corner: make sure your evidence fits the claim about the FINAL result of the story. "She is/is not greedy" is not sufficient to prove the END result is any single character's fault.
Period 5: 
If you changed corners, make sure you have at least ONE piece of evidence to support your new corner.
