Core Connections
Happy Tuesday! This week there is a lot of project work at hand. Please make sure you're working on your Periodic Table and your Hero's Project. If you need help, I'm available for tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday after school.
Also, make sure you've submitted your Friday Reflection.
ELA:
1. Finish Flocabulary (irony).
2. Complete Ch. 2 vocabulary quiz.
3. Work on idiom project.
4. Study Ch. 3 vocabulary.
5. Read, read, read!
Social Studies:
Complete your CLASSWORK by answering the questions in the America book (Ch. 4 Section 1) on p. 106 "Checking Your Progress" 1a and b, 2 a and b. There is nothing to submit. We will discuss your responses after the warm up tomorrow. You do not need to answer in complete sentences! (Note to Period 2: My zoom call lagged out and I just got my internet back with 5 minutes left in class...see you tomorrow!)
Math:
1st, 3rd, 4th & 5th -
If you didn't complete thatquiz transformations #1 in class, complete it tonight.
Before class Wed, make sure you have the pre-image drawn, points labeled on graph, and points entered in data sheet (in google classroom); Project Due Mon Sept 14th
2nd: Alg IXL K10 (smartscore of 85 or 25 minutes)
Science:
-Finish the Metals, Nonmetals, & Metalloids coloring page if you did not finish in class. Pictures of both sides should be submitted in GC for this assignment.
-Quiz on Thursday: STUDY! Use the links and resources provided in GC to study for Thursday's quiz. Take the practice quizzes (via Quizizz) posted in GC today.
