Great job on your ELA Check In today! Tomorrow the Math 8 and Math 1 NC Check In will be administered. Please make every effort to be on time for school with your fully charged device and charger. Bring a book to read if you finish before testing is completed.
Please make sure you bring back your signed permission / denial parent form for the upcoming presentation by the Durham County Health Department. Your signed form is due on or before this Friday, April 12.
Science:
1 - Read "How Fossils are Made," underlining important vocabulary words. Complete the crossword puzzle on the back, using the words you highlighted / underlined as clues.
2 - Review and study your notes on geologic time, fossils, and index fossils.
ELA:
Periods 1, 3, 4, 5:
1) Today's warmup (if not finished in class today)
2) Second half of the unit retest is tomorrow. Check previous homework blog posts for the retest requirements.
Period 2:
Unit retest Friday.
If Planning to Retake the Unit Test, these are the requirements:
1) Study guide turned in ON TIME
2) Complete any assignments marked "missing" (or "absent") in Jupiter from Quarter 4
3) Error Remediation (in Google Classroom) -- we will work on this a little bit together in class tomorrow - due Thursday
4) Revised constructed responses (from the test) -- we will work on this in class tomorrow
Social Studies:
1. Read 18.2 and 18.3 in America Text (classwork)
2. Review the slideshow notes on Ch. 18 in GC (classwork)
3. Begin the Trading Card assignment in GC (classwork and homework)
