 Science:
1 - Take your Microbes & Infectious Diseases quiz today. Please work alone and use only your brain for this assignment, no outside resources.
2 - Finish the Solve the Outbreak assignment from yesterday if you did not finish. 

Math:
1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th: Complete "Survey Results - Frequency Tables" doc in google classroom (choose 3 of the surveys to create frequency tables)
Think of a survey a question fro your project. We will use it in class Thursday.

2nd: Complete Quadratics Quiz
Copy/glue notes: p110 Unit 7 Systems Table of Contents; p111 Systems; p112 Solve by graphing; p113 Solve Systems Examples


Core Connections:
1. Google Form due by 1:00 - only one question and a chance to schedule help on your draft via Zoom.
2.  Please work on your draft for you COVID story.  It's due tomorrow for a peer review.  Check through the rubric.
3.  Make sure you've turned in Tuesday's in-class Choose Your Story Format (you need it for your draft).  
4.  Double check for any missing assignments.

Social Studies:

1.  Complete warm up #14.

2.  Complete the rough draft sketch for your Arpillera design.  Make sure that you use the guide that you submitted to complete the process.  The rough draft design should indicate where certain colors are and which items are 3D.  Remember that household items or items from your yard can be used to create 3D items on your canvas.  One 3D item is required for the project.  

3.  We will begin our "art days" in Social Studies when we return after the break.  Make sure that you bring all of your art supplies to school or you will have a different assignment and will have to catch up on the art at home!

You will need your own paint brush, paints and 3D items.

ELA:
1. Finish your L&G roots from yesterday.
2. Finish the peer-evaluation from yesterday.
3. Complete self-evaluation. See details on GC.

2. Study and review for Wednesday's quiz on Microbes & Infectious Disease. Use the links and practice quizzes in GC.

2.  Use the Jeopardy Game to review for tomorrow's test.

Math:
1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th - Make sure definitions are copied to the top of p80 (definitions can be found in google classroom by slideshow, video, and doc)

Ads for the yearbook went home Tuesday, March 23rd. Here is a link to the document. Extra copies are in the bin at the back of the gym. Speaking of the bin, several packets still need to be picked up. We started using these supplies yesterday in math.

 Science:
1 - Finish your Most Wanted Pathogen project.  Follow instructions in GC. Be sure all of your information fits onto 1 page / slide / doc (whatever format you are using). Do your best work - this counts as a quiz grade. 
2 - Check PowerSchool and be sure you have completed all assignments for 4th quarter. This is a great opportunity to finish anything that you haven't done yet. 

 Social Studies:
1.  Complete warm up #10
2.  Finish Flocabulary Reconstruction by 11:59 tonight for on time credit.
3.  Fill out the guide assigned in GC regarding your plans and ideas for your Arpillera.  This form must be completed before you begin your design.  Nothing should be added to the canvas at this time.  Your canvas should still be blank.

Math:
1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th: 
1. Complete INB p77 Line of Best Fit (purple sheet - other half of scatterplots from Thurs; fill in blanks and glue)
2. Complete INB p78 Write Equation from Line of best fit (purple examples need to be cut off and glued; write beside the examples in your notebook)
3. Complete Google Slides "Write Equation from Trend Line"

2nd: Complete Quadratics Review Sheet

Core Connections
1. Today's assignment is Empathy Makes Us Better Readers (and Humans). Please read the story Each Kindness.  Then answer the writing prompts on the Google Form that goes with it.   You may want to keep two tabs open.  This counts as a journal grade.
2.  Please finish anything you're missing in Google Classroom.

ELA:
1. I extended the deadline for the odes until Monday morning. 
2. Ode reactions (details on GC). This assignment is an INFORMAL writing assignment--just say what you think and feel! Use textspeak if you wanna!

2.  Review the power point presentation from the NC Book (Ch.9 section 4)in your new Hybrid GC account.

3.  Go to your old GC account which you used until March 16th.  There you will find a flocabulary assignment titled:  Reconstruction.  Complete the flocabulary activities:  video, vocab game, read and respond, and the quiz by Friday night March 26th at 11:59pm.

Social Studies:
1. Complete warm up #7 about Human Nature
2. Begin your independent study on Reconstruction analyzing political cartoons from the Era. (slide show posted in GC)
3. Read the introductory information on the first two slides.
4. Peruse slides 3-9 which contain political cartoons (primary sources) from the Reconstruction Era.
5. Pick 2 political cartoons to analyze.
6. On a piece of notebook paper or a google doc, answer the questions posted for each cartoon that you select. THERE IS NOTHING TO SUBMIT TODAY.
7. Be prepared to discuss your responses to the questions in class next week.
8. Review all Reconstruction Era vocabulary. Test next week!

Core Connections:
1. In small groups, complete the Review of Plot and other elements of a story.
2. Make sure you've discussed your 9th grade planning high school course planning form as a family.
