Science:
Work on your Food Web Project. Your draft should be completed before coming to Science & Core Connections class on Wednesday. Completed posters are due by the end of the day on Friday, January 13. Follow directions and do your best work! Neatness counts.
Social Studies:
1. Complete warm up #2
2. Project workday #2 (Part 2 of the Constitution Project). Steps Today:
A. Select the court case for your research. (See me if you are still having trouble finding a court case!)
B. Take notes on the background, ruling and impact of the court case using a GOOGLE DOC titled "Part 2 U.S. Constitution Project".
C. Use at least 3 different sources which should be cited using the Wise Owl application from Purdue University.
(YOU MUST FOLLOW THE DAILY STEPS. IF YOU ARE WORKING ON THE PARAGRAPHS FROM THE TEMPLATE YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING DIRECTIONS!)
3. Study your new unit vocab, We will play Pictionary later this week.

1) Characterization Homework #2 -- in Google Classroom
2) You will have your open-note, open-book test on characterization and best evidence on Thursday.
IF YOU WERE ABSENT/AT THE LIBRARY DURING CLASS TODAY: Make sure you check the Reading Progress for any reading you missed. The "Flowers for Algernon" short story is linked in the document AND posted in Google Classroom.
Make sure your Reading Journal is finished if you have not turned it in yet!
