 Social Studies:

Hi Everyone.  Thank you for continuing to work remotely due to my pet's emergency.  Virgil, my basset hound, has a large mass on his shoulder and will be operated on tomorrow morning.  I will not be zooming today but will hopefully be back with you live on Thursday.  Please continue to check this site and GC for instructions or updates.  Thank you for your kind thoughts😁

1.  Complete warm up #7 (Pick a tier!)

2.  Go back to the same link in GC that you used yesterday to watch the video on the Abolitionist Movement (history.com).  READ the text on the page.  Here are the headings of the sections you will read:

What is an Abolitionist?

How did Abolitionism start?

Missouri Compromise

Laws Inflame Tensions

After reading each section create 2 trivia questions to be used in a game later this week.  When you are finished you should have 2 questions from each section (8 total per person).

Math: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th - Finish and turn in Slope from Graphs practice started in class (google slides)
Start working on Slope Name Art Project (work on tonight and tomorrow, come to class Thurs with any questions; turn in Thurs)

2nd: Finish Dividing Monomials Worksheet (either on paper or google doc)

Science:
Finish the Build a Food Web activity from class today.  You may edit the G. slide or submit a picture of your work.  Be sure you also label the primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary consumers.  See GC and the G. slide (slide 2) for complete instructions.

ELA:
1. Work on your logical fallacy project (due Tuesday, 1/19).
2. I'm posting tomorrow's assignment today ("Orca trainer saw best of Keiko, worst of Tilikum") in case you want to go ahead and get started on it.
