 Social Studies:

Hi Everyone!  I will not be able to meet with you via zoom today due to a medical emergency with my pup Virgil.  Please keep him in your thoughts:)

Please follow this plan for remote learning today:

1, Complete warm up #6

2.  Complete the Flocabulary assignment:  Harriet Tubman and Courage (if you haven't already completed it!)

3.  Add these terms to your Slavery Unit vocabulary and define: antebellum, Fugitive Slave Act of 1850, and Missouri Compromise

4.  Watch the history.com video "Abolitionist Movement"(3 minutes and 26 seconds) which has been linked to GC.  The video will take about 30 sec to load.  

Make a bullet point list of notes as you watch the video.  We will have a discussion about the content on Tuesday.

Science:
From your science packet, cut out the sheet with the organisms and arrows.  We'll use these in class tomorrow. .
Finish the Click & Drag review slides if you did not finish during class today. 


Core Connections:

1.  Today we're beginning our Webquest Part 1. It is an independent work activity, not collaborative.  

2. Please make sure you've turned in last week's assignments, especially the journals.

Math: 

1st, 4th, 5th - Work on IXL Y1 Slope from Graphs (85 smartscore or 20 minutes)

3rd - Choose 1 to complete: Either Slope google form OR IXL Y1 (85 smartscore or 20 minutes)

2nd - finish front side of Multiplying Monomials worksheet (either submit a copy of it or enter answers in google doc)

ELA:
Work on your logical fallacy project (due Tuesday, 1/19).
