Core Connections:

1.  Please finish the Audubon Art and Arocha Art activities if you have not already done so. 

2. I hope you enjoyed bird watching! We had 24 total species and 54 individual birds observed.

3. Today, we'll be going to the High School for our tours. 

4. I am posting Tech Tuesday bird games.  These will be your warm up for tomorrow. 

ELA:

1) Any unfinished classwork (including the warmup in Google Classroom for periods 1, 3, 4, 5)

2) Periods 3, 5: Check-in review due tomorrow

3) Periods 1, 4: Check-in review due Friday

4) Period 3: Finish question 21 in your reading journal if not finished in class.

5) Period 4: Finish question 18 in your reading journal if not finished in class.

If you were absent, check the Reading Progress document to make up today's reading.

Science:

Finish the Results - Day 2 section of your Bacteria Lab Report.  Your Results section should have descriptions of the growth in all 4 sections of your plate, using the microbiological terms on the morphology chart we used in class.  If you took a picture of your plate, this should also be in your Results section.  You should also have descriptions of 2 additional plates.  If you did not describe 2 additional plates, use today's slideshow posted in Google Classroom.  Pictures of plates are included (toward the end) for your reference. 

So far, you should have completed these sections of your Bacteria Lab Report:

- Purpose
- Plate Map (labels)

- Predictions
- Procedure - Day 1
- Procedure - Day 2
- Results - (descriptions & photo)

If you have not finished any of the above sections, you need to complete them. (Note: If you were absent on Monday, Feb. 19, you may write "I was absent" for the Procedure - Day 1 section. The other sections should be completed.)

Social Studies:

1.  Complete warm up #16 (classwork)

2.  Review the Emancipation Proclamation notes on on the video in GC (Classwork)

3.  Review the PPT notes on last night's reading Ch.15.4 "The Civil War and American Life" in GC (classwork)

4.  Read part of Ch. 15 Section 5 pp.533-535 (top of page) about the Battle of Gettysburg (classwork)

5.  Begin the Gettysburg Address group lesson part 1 and 2 (classwork)

6.  Review the Civil War vocab (homework)
