Math:

1st, 3rd, 4th, & 5th:

-Complete Partner Practice in class

-Complete thatquiz Like Terms Equations

-There is a test Monday Oct 5th on order of operations, 1 step equations, 2 step equations, and like terms equations. The review sheet is posted.

 

2nd: 

- IXL S.21 Graph a horizontal or vertical line (85 smartscore or 20 minutes)

- IXL S.20 Equations of horizontal and vertical lines (85 smartscore or 20 minutes)

- There is a test Monday Oct 5th on arithmetic sequences, geometric sequences, and graph using tables. Review sheet is posted.

Science:

- Finish the EdPuzzle assignments for Biomass (Powered by Poop) and Geothermal Energy. There are two separate assignments that need to be completed. Be sure you finish both of these.

- Periodic Table Projects are due this week. Digital projects need to be submitted via the form in GC. Posters should be delivered to the front office of the middle school by Friday afternoon. If you are bringing your poster to school later than 3 pm, please email me as soon as possible to let me know which day and what time you are delivering your project!

Social Studies:

Use the Mecklenburg Resolves (also known as the Mecklenburg Declaration) and the Declaration of Independence to list 3 ways that the two documents are similar and 2 ways that they are different.

*Both primary sources are located in Google Classroom. 

Organize your notes for the test tomorrow.  It is open note/materials and multiple choice/true/false.

ELA:

1. Finish filling in idiom notes.

2. Study Ch. 6 words for a grade booster.

3. Ch. 11 idioms should be ready to present next week.

4. CommonLit due Tuesday.
