 ELA:
1. Finish setting up your binder and No Red Ink accounts if you haven't already. Instructions on Google Classroom.
2. Complete the Reading Survey and Reading Plan.
3. Find a book to read (other than the class novel) if you don't have one already. (If you don't have one at home and can't access one, email me, and I will help you.)

Math:

1. Get to know you survey https://forms.gle/E6pkqz4dDWaNBTUG9   (to be turned today Wednesday August 12th)

2. Finish thatquiz assignments from class (get to thatquiz using mrshigdonmath.weebly.com, select thatquiz tab, select class period, select name, password should be the same as IXL password)

3. IXL Math Diagnostic: complete 75 questions by Friday August 28th

4. Parent Assignment due Wednesday Aug 19th

5. Have a composition notebook for class Thurs Aug 13th

Social Studies:

Review class expectations and the syllabus.  We will begin social studies instruction tomorrow with a mini project.  

Science:

1- Do the Lab Equipment review slide in GC.  You only need to do the first slide (not the "Lab Equipment - Show Me" slide).

2 Bring these materials to class tomorrow: science binder,  colored circles (from your Lab Supply Kit), glue stick (or clear tape), Is it Matter handout, Element, Compound, Mixture handout, colored pencils

3 - View the slideshow from class today if you missed anything on your Lab Equipment notes, or if you need help setting up your science binder.  Great work today!
