 Science:

- Science Packets are available for pickup in the front office of the middle school. Please make arrangements to collect these. 

- Finish the Flocabulary - Atoms assignments if you did not finish during class on Monday. You need to complete the Video, Vocab Cards, Vocab Game and the Read & Respond. 

- Store Visit / Kitchen Assignment is due Monday, Aug. 31 by 8:30 AM. Make plans to complete this assignment. 

ELA:

1. Finish ID Common Nouns practice and quiz (NRI).

2. Finish author study questions (GC).

3. Study vocabulary.

4. Read, read, read!

MTSS:

"Lamb to the Slaughter" (CommonLit) is due NEXT TUESDAY. You have today and Thursday during MTSS to work on it. If you turn it in early, you make have a chance to correct mistakes.

Social Studies: Define your new unit vocabulary "Colonialism". Also review your Social Studies Anchor Vocabulary. We will have our first test/assessment next week. More information to come at the end of the week. Remember....DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR DEFINITIONS to me! They are for YOU!

Math: 75 math diagnostic questions due Friday August 28th (when you look at your analytics, make sure you select math instead of the default of all subjects)

1st, 3rd, 4th, & 5th - Finish 8th grade IXL P9 (85 smartscore or 20 minutes); IXL P10 (85 smartscore or 20 minutes)

2nd - finish classwork google classroom proportions equations; thatquiz Equations HW 2 (there is no minimum score, do your best, I'm looking for effort)
