 Math 8 students should complete Delta Math assignment Introduction To Scientific Notation.

Math 1 students began Modeling Data using Exponential Functions with Pre-Test, so now homework. 

Four Days to Spring Break! 

Social Studies:

1.  Create a new Doc for Q4 warm-ups.  Complete warm up #1 (classwork)

2.  Finish the reading from Friday (NC 9.4 "Reconstruction in the State" pp.305-311) and review the notes in GC (classwork)

3.  I.N. L2:  Civil Rights Act Graphic Organizer/R2: Civil Rights Act of 1966 (classwork)

4.  Study your notes and vocab for Friday's quiz (homework)

Science:

1 - Finish the Pandemic or Epidemic? Assignment in Google Classroom if you did not finish in class.

2 - Complete page 6 (all), 7 (top half), and 10 (all) in your Health & Disease LearnEd notebook. See instructions in Google Classroom. 

3 - Finish the Microorganisms Color By Number if you did not finish in class.  Neatness counts! Do your best work. 

4 - Study for your Microbes & Infectious Diseases test.  Test is Wednesday, March 20. 

Core Connections:

1. Please bring your class registration form tomorrow - Tuesday - printed, filled out, and signed. 

2.We will continue with Archaeopteryx.

3.  Wednesday we will do fieldwork - bird observations. 

4.  Please prepare to paint on Thursday and Friday.

If you were absent, check the Reading Progress document to make up today's readings

Periods 1, 3, 4, 5: 

   1) Unit test study guide - due TOMORROW. You must turn this in via Jupiter by the beginning of class to be eligible to retake the unit test.

2) Prepare for your unit test on Friday. Links for extra practice are posted in Jupiter materials and linked to the Unit Test assignment in Jupiter. 

Students who are going on the school's spring break trip are welcome to take the test before or after the break, whatever they would prefer.

If you were in the library during class today, here is what you may have missed:

  1. Period 1: Warmup (in Jupiter), reading journal feedback review (Jupiter messages), IXL group jam (practiced the central idea skill)
  2. Period 2: Check the "Reading Progress" document, linked above.
