Science: 1) Finish the "Floating Junkyard" article and questions - complete sentences & quality work!  Go here to watch today's video on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.  Go here and here to see other videos about this giant garbage patch in the oceans. 2) Study for Thursday's quiz on oceans. Quiz will cover ocean chemistry, ocean zones, estuaries, ocean resources, and ocean pollution.

Finish any pages you didn't finish in class today.  Students have had 4 class days to work on this project.  2) Oceans quiz on Thursday!  Study all notes and handouts on oceans.  Quiz will cover ocean chemistry, ocean habitats, resources from the ocean, and ocean pollution (will be covered Tues -Weds of this week).

Science: Choose items for your Oceans Catalog project.  Finish your research for the oceans catalog (use handout provided to record your information.)   This needs to be completed for class on Thursday, Dec.13. You will begin creating your catalog on Thursday in class.

Science: 1) Finish front and back of today's handout if you didn't finish at school today!  Estuaries Review (part A) and Ocean Resources (part B) should be complete when you come to class tomorrow.   2) Finish your Estuaries booklet if you have not completed this yet (it was due on Friday). 3) Hug someone in your family. :-) 
Humanities:  Finish your memoir.  Bring in your permission form for the field trip on Wednesday if you have not already done so.  Review for your Ch. 8 (NC) test (use the study guide items).  Test this Friday!
