Any assignments not finished in class today should be finished by end of break. These include:

1) "Stage 3: Public Health Campaign Choice" (handed out yesterday)

2) CDC Clear Communication score sheet (handed out today. If you are absent, I will post an electronic copy you can use by end of day.

Science 

 Finish any incomplete work, if this applies to you (LearnEd, Brain Pop, etc.) Check Infinite Campus.

3 .  Create a new vocabulary study set: Industrialization

Technology, monopoly, supply, demand, rural, urban, immigrant, urbanization, interest, Industrial Revolution, migration, patent, tenement, industrialist

4. Read in the America test Ch 18.1 “ A New Industrial Revolution pp. 608-613.  Take notes as you go!

Review 5 in Delta math due Friday!!

Finish the "How Fossils are Made" reading passage (underline key terms!) and crossword puzzle if you did not finish during class today.

3 - Finish the Index Fossils Review if you did not finish this assignment last week.  Remember to email me upon completion of late work! If you have a 0 in Infinite Campus, you need to finish this assignment.

3 - Finish the Geologic Time Organizer, if this applies to you.  This was due today. 

ELA:

Period 1: Finish reading and annotating your group's section in the Literature Review of the article.

Period 2: Finish reading the Introduction section of the article. As you read:

  • Circle unknown words
  • Make 2 annotations for meaning (putting a sentence or phrase into your own words)
Period 3: Read the last sentence in "1. Transformation of Digital Media Consumption Patterns" and write down the meaning in your own words.

Period 4: Read the section of Literature Review that is for your group's focus area. Circle any unknown words.

5.  Study your new vocab: Reconstruction.  We will play Gimkit later this week!

1 - Complete labeling the "Major Events in Earth's History" if you did not finish in class.

2 - Complete the Geologic Time Organizer. Follow directions. 

3 - Complete the Picture It assignment to sketch a picture of Earth during each of the 4 major time periods.  Pictures should include biological and geological events.

If you're worried about losing your work, use the "export notes" button at the top to save an offline copy of your notes to your computer before you log out or close the tab.

  • Step 1: You do not need to attach the spreadsheet to the assignment. I own them all and have the links -- I will check them when it is time.
  • Steps 2, 3: ONE group member should attach the categorization slide (step 2) and graphic organizer (step 3).
  • Step 4: If you wrote a group paragraph, only ONE group member needs to attach it to the assignment. If you wrote individual paragraphs, each person should attach their own.
Turn it in once you have followed all directions above.
