1 - Finish your Estuary Booklet if I did not get yours today. This counts as a project grade for 2nd quarter.

2 - Finish the Friendly Floatees activity if you did not finish during class today. Use the resources posted in Google Classroom to identify currents and landmarks. 

The 8th grade will have a winter breakfast on December 17. Each homeroom is assigned a different item to bring.  See details here.

Work on your Estuary Booklet. These are due on Thursday, Dec. 4 at the beginning of science class.  If you need an extension, be sure to speak to me in person by the end of the day today. Today (Wednesday) is the last day we will work on the mini-project in class.

Social Studies

1.  Warm up #19 

2.  Create new unit study set using Quizlet, name it slavery, words are in GC (classwork)

3.  Read America 4.3 and answer the questions provided in GC as a review before we begin this unit (classwork)

4.  Flocabulary: Slavery/complete by Friday (classwork/homework)

5.  Work on Pt. 1 of your project/RESEARCH (classwork in Core Connections and homework)

ELA:

Study for Literary Text Midterm. Use the links in your study guide to brush up on skills that you may need to review.

Today was a project work day for the Estuary Booklet.  You will work on your Social Studies Projects on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday during CC.  

Monday, December 1

Read & annotate the "All About Estuaries in NC" information if you did not finish in class today. 

Work on your Estuary Booklet project.  This is due Thursday at the beginning of your science class.  We will work on this in science (M, T, W) and CC (T) this week.

We're working on projects for Science, Social Studies, and Spelling Bee over the next few weeks.  It's a good time to use your class time wisely.
