This project is not related to reading the first paragraph on a website, answering the question on a surface level and commenting that you are done!  Projects which lack depth will receive a grade of 70. 

Follow the guides for research and citations provided.  Ask questions when problems arise.  Proofread your slides for writing errors and correct them before submitting tomorrow.

All Classes - Finish color-coding your periodic tables if you did not finish in class today.  Complete Part A and Part B.  Be sure to color your key.  Follow directions. 

2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Periods: Finish the Family Matters assignment  (on paper; given to you in class today) using your color-coded periodic tables.

All Classes: Study for your science quiz on Friday. Use the review materials posted in Google Classroom earlier this week.  Study your notes and assignments on matter, atoms, elements/compounds/mixtures, and the basic information on the periodic table.  (Groups and Families will not be on this week's quiz.)

1.  Make sure that you have watched the first 35 minutes of the documentary film First Language:  The Race to Save Cherokee.

2.  Work on the Reflection questions as you go.  Due on Wednesday for a classwork/homework grade

3.  Create a new vocab study set in Quizlet and name it COLONIZATION (classwork)

4.  Study new vocab (homework)

ELA

Read "The Monkey's Paw" and annotate for vocabulary:

1. Underline each word from today's "Context Clues" worksheet as you come across it in the short story.
2. Check your worksheet answers, considering the situational clues and context in the story.
3. Write the definition near the word in the story.

Science

1 - Finish the Atoms Review Activity in Google Classroom if you did  not finish during class today. Remember to submit the form once you have answered all the questions.

2 - Study for Friday's quiz (matter, elements/compounds/mixtures, atomic structure, basic periodic table info -not groups/families).  See Google Classroom for review material and practice links.
