Science:  Brainstorm at least 3 possible topics for your periodic table, and list 4-6 groups within each topic.  Select your topic  Begin your 1st draft of your periodic table (use pencil!)  Listen to the new version of the periodic table song and learn the location of groups and families.

Science:  Finish the diagrams of atoms on the Models of Atoms handout from class today.  Use color and finish the key:  protons should be green, neutrons should be red, and electrons are blue.  Store Visit assignment is due on Wednesday.  Follow directions on the handout you received in class (or see Friday's post).      

Humanities:  Read for at least 20 minutes.  Read NC Ch. 2 section 3 and take Cornell notes on the section.  Test on Thursday.  BE PREPARED by using one or several of the strategies given to you on Friday.
