Science: Finish the "Modeling Ocean Currents" lab (all questions, including the map). Use Chapter 4, Section 4 in your textbook if you need help labeling currents or drawing the map. Question 4 on the handout is the same as question 4 on page 169 - use your book to help you understand the question! (There is a typo on the handout for question 4.) Humanities: Students should have Somerset Homecoming: Recovering a Lost Heritage each day in class and should keep up with the reading as outlined on the green sheet they were given. Students who have not yet purchased a book should do so immediately so that they can get caught up.

Finish your summary paragraph on the back of page 10 in your binder - be sure to include the words discussed today (hydrothermal vents and reservoir) if you did not include these already. * All families were notified in September that Somerset Homecoming needed to be purchased. We started the memoir today but noticed that MANY students still do NOT have a personal copy of the book! Reading begins tonight and continues through the 11th of December. Being prepared is an important step to being successful!

The quiz will cover the following topics: water distribution on Earth, freshwater, water cycle, water quality, water treatment, and pollution. Science: 1) Finish your Pondwater Lab Evaluation - due Monday! The Honors' Option is available to any student. Points will be added based on effort, quality, and accuracy. 2) Freshwater Twiz on Tuesday. Twiz will cover pages 4-9 in your binder. The following topics will be covered: freshwater, water on Earth, the water cycle, water quality, polllution, and water treatment. Use the Review Sheet on the back of page 9 to help you begin studying this weekend!
