Core Connection Exercise Unit
Students will need to come up with an exercise that they create. They will need to exercise for 20 minutes and write a paragraph explaining the exercise and how it benefits the body. You will write about your exercise on a Google Doc and submit it on Google Classroom by Monday 3/30 by 9:00 am in one document.

What you must include in each paragraph:
The name of your exercise or game and the directions on how to do it.
Which muscles does it help?
Who exercised with you?

Science:
1 - Answer the Question in Google Classroom for today.
2 - Complete the Flocabulary assignments for Viruses. You should complete everything except the Quiz; it will be assigned later. Submit your assignments in Flocabulary; you do not need to submit anything in Google Classroom for today's Flocabulary work.
Both of these tasks are due by 11:59 PM today.  Let me know if you need help or have questions: kgraham@voyageracademy.net
Keep washing your hands! I believe in you. Stay positive - this will not last forever!

Spanish: Check Google Classroom (Duolingo Podcast + comprehension questions; SeƱor Wooly "Nugget 2")

Math:
I have entered information in powerschool to help you track assignments. Specific percentage grades are not being entered into powerschool yet. The name of the assignment, collected or missing is all that is visible. Do not worry about the grade of 0 showing as the Q4 grade; it's the default.
All assignments for the week are in google classroom. Have a great week. See you on our scheduled conference calls (class specific). Message me if you need any help or just want to say "Hi!"

ELA:

  • Make your graphic for the root "man." (Watch the video and read the instructions on Google Classroom!)
  • Continue to revise your odes. I'm putting up at least one video critique a day. Watch and use the coaching to improve your own drafts.

The video for the daily Latin & Greek root graphic is on YouTube, GC, and Instagram:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3&v=TvKV7Xd1X-w&feature=emb_logo

I've changed the due date of the ode to next Friday, 3/27. I'll continue to critique one per day and post a video of it. I still have to use the Wheel of Names because you are 102 people and I am one tiny little person. I'll prioritize the people who did not get their essay critiqued. Even if I don't do yours, PLEASE USE THE COACHING FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S ODES. You can learn a lot about your own writing by listening to critiques of other people's writing.
