Science:  Work on the slides for your Energy Proposal.  Presentations will begin on Tuesday, 10/3.  Check the rubric for this project as you work.  Study!  Quiz on Energy and Chemical Reactions on Friday, 10/6.  

Social Studies:  Read NC Ch. 6 section 2 and take Cornell notes.

Social Studies:  Happy Patriots Day!  Read NC Ch. 5 Sect. 1 and take Cornell notes.  Please add the following terms to your vocabulary list for the Colonial unit:  Tory, Whig, loyalist, patriot.  The colonial era/American Revolution test has been moved up two days to Tuesday, September 19th.  The study guide will be added tomorrow.

Language Arts: Don't forget to complete  and submit your independent reading check if you haven't done so already!  You should be reading for at least 15 minutes each evening and annotating using the elements of fiction as a guide.  Fictional novels will allow you to practice identifying the elements of fiction and developing an appropriate theme.  ASK QUESTIONS if you need help.

TEST ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 15th!!!

Math I: Test on Wednesday, September 13th!!! Test will cover Equations, Frequency Tables, Boxplots, and the impact of an outlier on the mean, median, interquartile range, and standard deviation.

8th Grade Math: Test on Wednesday, September 13th!!! Test will cover One-Step, Two-Step, and Multi-Step Equations and Vocabulary.

Science:  Finish the online assignments from last week in CK-12 if you haven't finish.  Finish today's classwork: read and take notes on Chapter 16, Section 1.
