Humanities:  Preview Google Doc on Somerset Essay.  Prepare your journal responses.  Finish your Transcendentalist Investigation.  All classes can skip step 5.


Extra Credit Opportunity for the 2nd Quarter:
Watch the Steven Spielberg film Lincoln
Write a 3 paragraph essay about the Human Condition.  This is a major theme explored in this genre.  
Human Condition:  the unique and inescapable qualities that define what it means to be HUMAN.
What does the movie about Lincoln say about the human condition?
You can focus on Lincoln alone or you can focus on different characters in the movie.  
The essay is due by Friday, January 3rd, 2014 by 9:00am!

Humanities:  Respond to your journal questions.  Study for your Ch. 8 test tomorrow.  Finish prompts 1, 2 and 3 from the Transcendentalist Investigation.

Humanities:  Read for thirty minutes.  NC Ch. 8 Test on Wednesday, December 11th.  You will receive a study guide tomorrow and we will play a review game on Monday.  

Make sure that you have completed the America 12.1 and 12.2 questions from class.
