ELA: From now through 3/27, homework is: Finish book club work (reading/notes).

Science:  Finish the Flocabulary assignments if you did not finish during class  Use these codes on Quizizz to take the practice quizzes on viruses & bacteria:  382525 and 131507.  Listen to the bacteria multiplication song

Social Studies:  Quiz tomorrow (Reconstruction).  There will be a check next Monday for warm-ups this quarter.  Be prepared, it will be a quiz grade!

Social Studies:  Read NC Ch. 9 Section 4 and take notes

Math: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Period - work on project; bring poster board to class with your name on it
4th & 5th - IXL BB.1 (90 smartscore or 20 min)

Science:  Finish the Hidden/Active virus comparison foldable if you did not finish in class.  INSIDE: Describe the steps of how each virus infects a cell, and draw a diagram.  Diagram should have color.  Be sure the viral and host cell DNA is clearly visible in each diagram. BACK COVER: List the similarities between hidden & active viruses.

Social Studies Extra Credit Opportunity Quarter 3

EXTRA CREDIT:  Watch President Trump's State of the Union Address which aired last evening.  The entire address is one hour and twenty-two minutes.  You must watch all of the address and write a 1 page reflection about your personal response to the speech.  This must be double spaced using size 12 font.  Make sure to cite important topics with details about what the President had to say and your reaction to the President.  Due by March 5th for 100 points (test credit).

Social Studies:  Look for valuable resources related to your Civil War independent study topic.  Utilize books, primary sources and websites to gain insight into your topic of study.  Make sure that you have at least one valuable resource with information gathered in the form of a google doc or handwritten notes by tomorrow.  Do not plagiarize!  This will result in zero credit for you on this assignment.
