Tomorrow is the last day of Quarter 1. Finish all missing work, if this applies to you. 

Social Studies

1.  Continue to work on your Revolutionary War Era People project (Workday 3).

This project requires sustained reading of text found on websites.  

This project is not related to reading the first paragraph on a website, answering the question on a surface level and commenting that you are done!  Projects which lack depth will receive a grade of 70. 

Follow the guides for research and citations provided.  Ask questions when problems arise.  Proofread your slides for writing errors and correct them before submitting tomorrow.

 Due tomorrow at the end of class.

ELA:

NC Testing is Coming UP!!
1.  Testing begins MONDAY morning.  
2.  Students need charged devices.  During check-ins, several students had issues with their laptops.  Please make sure you've checked through the directions for loading the NC TEST app.
3.  ALL other electronic devices, including SmartWatches must be put away and off.
4.  Students may have a water bottle only.
5.  Students should bring a book to read after testing.

Science

Study for your quiz tomorrow on earth history.  Use the Quiz Review material posted in GC on March 31. Study your notes, handouts, assignments, and slideshows in the Earth History topic. Topics covered: fossils, relative age, plate boundaries, geologic time, continental drift, rock cycle.  Several IXL skills were posted today for review and practice; use any of these to review rock cycle & plate boundaries.
