Core Connections:

Today is a Project Work Day.  Please use this time to gain feedback and help on your science lab report, revisions to ELA's Check-in #3, or ELA Check-in #4.

If you need to bring art supplies, I have small, clear plastic bins.  You may borrow them, write your name on them, and store them in my classroom while you work on the Artifact in ELA.

Also, please make sure you've submitted the Timeline activity and your hand-made card for the My Story, Our Story, History CC project.

Social Studies:

1.  Make sure that you have finished Flocabulary "War of 1812" by tonight at 11:59 (homework)

2.  Continue to work on your 5W's Westward Trading Card.  You will have 20 additional minutes to work on the card on Monday before you present your information to your peers.  Remember the EQ:  How did America grow and expand as a nation during this time (1800's-1850's) (homework)

3.  Continue to study your new unit vocab (homework)

ELA:

1) Finish today's MTSS assignment, if not done during class.

2) Go through the Roots quizlet. For each flashcard, look at the root on the front and try to think of the definition. Then flip it over to see if you were right. Keep track of how many you get right. Record that number in your data chart (posted in Jupiter Materials).

3) Checkpoint 4 rough draft - due Wednesday

4) Roots quiz - on WednesdaySci

Period 2 only: Quiz on next 3 grammar concepts on Tuesday. This is OPEN NOTE. See the assignment in Jupiter for details.

Spanish:

- Do your Padlet homework, and make sure you have the 4 posts done this evening.

- Study for the written evaluation on Tuesday: Presente simple, pasado simple y pasado imperfecto.

Science:

Work on your Water Quality Lab Report.  Your completed Lab Report is due on Tuesday, November 14. Follow all directions (posted in Google Classroom) and proofread your work carefully! The Honors' Level Options are available to anyone who would like to attempt these.

Happy Veterans' Day! Enjoy your 3-day weekend!
