Please bring back your signed NC Estuarium field trip permission form to your homeroom teacher.  Parents, we still need chaperones for this trip. If you are available on Thursday, November 29 and would like to join us, please email Mrs. Graham (kgraham@voyageracademy.net).  Parents, please remember to pay for the field trip through Orgs Online.   The trip is listed as "8th Grade - 2018-2019 NC Estuarium Field Trip"

Science:  
1- Water Quality lab report - due Thursday, Nov. 15 at 8:15 a.m.  See Google classroom for instructions, class data, procedures, and the rubric.  The data from last year is also in Google Classroom in case you are attempting the Honors Level questions.  Follow directions and do your best work!
2 - Quiz  - Monday, November 19.  Topics covered: freshwater pollution (Section 3.3 in blue textbook), water quality, and water treatment.  Use class notes (pages 9-14 in your science binder) and the links below to study.

Social Studies:  Finish coding the Lunsford Lane Crafting Freedom bio.  Write a 1 page reflection about the reading.  Do not share the reflection with me.

Students will be given two workdays this week to display data from their survey.  The first day will be Thursday in my class and Friday in Mr. E's class.  Students will present their findings in Ms. Nease's class very soon.  (Date to be determined after Thanksgiving break.)   There are many choices regarding mode of presentation:  slideshow, Pictochart, Informative Poster, brochure, Diarama, letter to the Editor, sculpture or drawing, or....?


ELA: Idiom video project due date has been pushed back to Thursday.
