T1:  The Emancipation Proclamation was an Executive Order given by President Abraham Lincoln.  Define Executive Order.  Why was this proclamation so important at the time?
T2:  Define the Emancipation Proclamation.  What kind of affect did it have on the Confederate Army?  What kind of affect did it have on the Union Army?  Explain.
T3:  How did the Emancipation Proclamation change the "character" of the Civil War?  Explain using details.
