Tomorrow is the DOA.  Dress appropriately for outdoor activities.  Bring a water bottle.

Tomorrow is the last day of Quarter 1. Finish all missing work, if this applies to you. 

Social Studies

1.  Continue to work on your Revolutionary War Era People project (Workday 3).

This project requires sustained reading of text found on websites.  

This project is not related to reading the first paragraph on a website, answering the question on a surface level and commenting that you are done!  Projects which lack depth will receive a grade of 70. 

Follow the guides for research and citations provided.  Ask questions when problems arise.  Proofread your slides for writing errors and correct them before submitting tomorrow.

 Due tomorrow at the end of class.

ELA:

Evidence Boxes via Pear Assessment  posted in GC ( this will help you prepare for quiz)

Finish Integrating Sources Activity from class today.

Graded warm up tomorrow! Review your weekly warmups to prepare.

Pear Assessment Quiz-"The Incredible Life of Louis Zamperini" and "Arachnophobia" review comprehension questions completed this week as well as positive, negative and neutral connotation.

**Make sure computers are fully charged!!

Science:

1 - Finish the Chemical Equations & Reactions assignment in GC if you did not finish yesterday during Viking Time or during class today. 

2 - Finish the Balancing Equations Practice (paper handout) if you did not finish during class today. Yes, you should complete the front and back sides.

3 - Bring your colored pencils to class tomorrow.  If you do not have colored pencils, bring $2 so that you can purchase a package at the school store in the morning.

 Science:

1 - Periodic Table projects are due this week - either Tuesday or Wednesday by the end of the day. Follow directions and read the rubric carefully.  Be sure your name and science class period are on your poster.

2 - Finish the Conservation of Mass practice (the back side of today's notes) and the EdPuzzle if you did not finish at school today.

Social Studies

1.  Submit your Q1 warm up doc for on-time credit (project grade)

2.  Take Test 2!

*If you did not submit your warm up doc in class as instructed and plan on submitting it tonight YOU MUST SEND AN EMAIL TO ME to let me know that you are turning it in after school hours.  If your time stamp does not show today's date, it is late!  You have been given 1 extra week to get it in order!

Core Connections:

Please BRING and work on your posters to each core connections class.  It's OK to work on your projects at home, but they do need to return to school each day.
